• Baby cashmere is pristinely soft and lightweight. This ultra-fine fibre is taken from the first combing of a baby goat aged 3-12 months during the warmer spring months only when they no longer need the underfleece that protects them from the harsh winter weather. The combing process does not cause any physical or emotional pain to the goats and each coat can supply fibre for only one sweater per year.
