The black linen dress is so chic and versatile. I'm 5'3 and 114lb and XS was a perfect fit. I also tried on S (my normal size in most brands) and although I would be fine wearing it, it gave me a baggier and more casual look that wasn't very flattering. So make sure to get the right size. Love that the dress has pockets!

Another lovely piece of linen clothing from Quince ... it fits, it looks good, you can dress it up, you can dress it down...(I feel myself wanting to put this concept into Dr Seuss language, but ... no Great new color too -- its not brick, and its not orange or coral ... terra cotta brings hints of all of those colors in and it's new and different. .Not flashy or loud. Just distinct. A+ from me.

Such a classic and well made staple for your closet. I originally ordered the S but returned for an XS (it’s runs big around the shoulders). I love the style and linen fabric. Great for an easy Sunday morning or for work with a tank underneath!

I really love this dress. It’s really nice quality and a great cut. Hits right about mid calf. Based on the reviews though, I sized up and ended up returning the original dress for my regular size. But it’s okay because I ended up getting the terra-cotta color which is BEAUTIFUL.

I loved it soo much I bought 2 more. A little snug around my waist (waist size 34 inches) but still comfortable. Can't wait for next purchase

The fit and earth color of this dress is very flattering. Knowing linen to be one of the most stain resistant fabrics, I wore it to an outdoor composting class with rubber boots the day I received it. I wore it with a shelf bra as I am busty and had to leave the top two buttons unbuttoned. Other than that it was a perfect fit. I was debating between the small and the medium. I’m glad I went with a small. After a wash it’s good as new with no shrinkage. I have since ordered 2 other colors.

This classic style, good quality linen dress is perfect summer wear for the no longer young woman . It has been difficult to find stylish pieces and I appreciate the accidental discovery of Quince. One suggestion: Move the top button closure up a bit so bra center doesn’t show. No worries though! A concealed safety pin will work!

Obsessed with this dress! So cute, flattering, and comfortable. Highly recommend! It is a bit low-cut in the chest area, but this is easy to fix. Also, I read a lot of reviews saying to size up but I ended up ordering my true size (Small) and I'm glad I did! I think a Medium would've been too big. That being said, depends on the look you're going for. I will say this might be an awkward length on shorter gals. I'm 5'6'' and really like where it falls on me, but just be aware of that!

First off, IT HAS POCKETS! It’s also just so beautiful and airy, and the structure made it a great choice for my engagement shoot photos.

Beautiful fabric and cut. Fit a bit tighter than expected at first but as with all linen it relaxed after wearing for a bit. Coming back for more colors and a sleeveless version (hint-hint).

For reference, I'm 5'4" with a slim build and ordered a M based on the size chart for waist measurement (as a S would have been too tight since the fabric is linen and has no stretch). The dress is a bit long on my torso--by an inch or two--so with some readjustment it works fine. This is something that can be tailored easily enough. The quality of the dress is nice, lightweight without feeling sheer, and as mentioned in other reviews it plunges into a deep V. But the extra button included could very easily be moved up and sewn on as an extra button on the top if you'd prefer something less plunging. Another small thing is that you can't lift your arms too high since the sleeves are sewn in such a way to prevent the movement, but outside of this, it's still a wonderful dress that can be dressed up or down.
